@vhslore Bean has not been good. And questioning the play calling sort of felt like the final straw. That and sending him somewhere where he won’t play makes sense.
@Gpd1259Len @GusMartin_SP That’s the problem. Teams with brand new coaches and schemes … and players … perform better. Look at WMU did to us. How are we here at year 8?
@GusMartin_SP Is it the coaching? Scheme? Recruitment? All of it? I truly don’t know what to think. Only that this happens yearly. Western has a new coach. We are in year 8. Unpleasant losing to a team with a first year coach in their first year of transition.
Missouri Rolls Over Ball State, 48-0 - University of Missouri Athletics @SSN_BallState I was there for this one too … Brad Smith was a great college football player. Again. Brutal https://t.co/RKjrZ50uTJ
Here’s hoping you didn’t watch 1 second of the Ball State game. Had to be the worst performance Ive seen by Ball State - or really anyone - in 15 years. Maybe more.
I need you to spin it. Help me feel better about what we saw. BSU message boards are a fire with “its everything.” Coaching. Recruiting. Game plan. Are we really that impossibly awful across the board?
Real Talk..... We all watched and none of us are stupid so Im not going to spin this. Today was just plain bad on all fronts. Time to look in the mirror and do some soul searching
Almost impossible to answer. As a life long fan and alum - “we” don’t play enough pride games. So, of course, I want to see us play any extra game that matters. And NIL really seems like an impossibility for MAC schools. Can we raise enough to entice top end MACish talent?
This question was raised elsewhere buts its really good but hypothetical Would you rather pay to play in a CBI/CIT and or send 6-6 FB team to a bowl. Or use raised Donated monies to Fund NIL to bring in better players. Why in comments
@darlyn1@TomCochraneMUS No Regrets. “After all the shit you know we've been through it.
Oh, there ain't a shovel big enough in the world that can move it.”
