Police in Lenasia South are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Keseabetswe Excelia Kgantlapane, who was reported #missing.

Kgantlapane was last seen by her sister on Saturday, 19 September 2026, when she left home without informing anyone where she was going. She has not been seen since.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing brown tracksuit pants, black and white sports shoes, a brown pyjama top and a black and white jacket.

Anyone who may have information regarding Kgantlapane’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Constable ED Anthony, on 016 466 2352.

An 8-year-old girl, Precious Lufwempa, was found alone along Katima Mulilo Road at around 22:00.

She has since been taken to Chaisa Police Station, where she is safe and in the care of the police while efforts are being made to locate her parents, guardians or family.

These charges that Sibiya is facing are quite hectic. I read that the 16 year old child, is actuqlly a child of "an associate" of his. 😳 He was given the contact to assist the child I don't know with what. He then met this girl and her friend, the 18 year old. He made advances to the friend, got them into a hotel room, allegedly gave them alcohol and r$ped the girl. He had also been sending the 16 year old inappropriate pictures and texts. These were found by the parents. So horrible!

“*_Khayelitsha teacher Andisiwe Jobela missing after leaving for school_*

A Khayelitsha family is fearing the worst after a 27-year-old teacher and mother of one went missing on Tuesday morning.

Andisiwe Jobela left her home in Kuyasa at about 7am in an e-hailing vehicle, heading to Bulumko High School, where she teaches. It was the last time her family heard from her.

Her disappearance comes as police investigate the deaths of eight women whose bodies were found in and around Kempton Park and elsewhere in Ekurhuleni, bringing renewed attention to concerns around gender-based violence against women.

Her relative, Ayanda Jobela, said the family was increasingly concerned, particularly because Andisiwe has a one-year-old baby.

“She is a teacher at one of the High School’s in Khayelitsha and took an inDrive to school but did not share her location with anyone, we know nothing. She would not just leave because she has a small baby who is a year old," Jobela said.

“At school she signed the register at 7.50am. According to the principal, she saw Andisiwe at the school but saw her leaving the gate but most of her colleagues did not see her.”

“This is a huge concern for us as a family, we could not sleep because we do not know where she is, especially with everything that has been going on (regarding the bodies of the eight women found in Ekurhuleni).

"This is unlike her, she would not just leave without saying anything and more especially because she has a baby, she would not do it." Jobela added.

“People are also spreading fake information online posting fake posts that she has been found which is not true. She is still missing.”

Andisiwe was last seen wearing a denim shirt and denim pants.

Her family is appealing to anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. They have also urged people not to circulate unverified information online.”
