These scammers will text or call you, saying you have a warrant you have to pay ASAP.
The scammer may use the names of real judges or police officers. But neither we nor law enforcement will ever text or call you to demand money for a warrant.
Scam alert: People in Minnesota are getting fake emails and texts from a phony “Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles (DPSMN).” That agency doesn’t exist. DPS and DVS will never send a text asking for money. Don’t click links. Delete the message.

Court of Appeals judges paid a visit to Open World Learning Community today for the Minnesota Court of Appeals' Traveling Oral Arguments!
The students watched attorneys argue a real case in front of the judges. Afterwards, the judges answered student questions about the courts.

The students met with members of the branch’s Human Resources team to learn about the Minnesota Judicial Branch.

The purpose of the annual event is to highlight the importance of access to justice.
