April 11th - MNMS Fun Afternoon
MNMS Student Council is sponsoring a free Fun Afternoon for all grades from 3:45 - 5:30 on April 11th.
Activities will be offered, see the flyer for more details. Chips and candy will be sold to fundraise for Student Council, $0.25 - $1.25.
MNMS 8th graders presented original research projects at the Region 5 National History Day contest held at Lock Haven University. Congratulations Briley Aikey, Maya Guggenberger, Sam Brighton, Caroline Horning, Russell Harvatine, Yushan Bai, Cooper Palma, and Max Giulian!
A huge congratulations to the MNMS Mathcounts team who took FIRST PLACE in the Centre County Mathcounts competition this Saturday!
The team of Frank Hsu, Emil Itskov-Curto, Isabel Song, and Iksha Singla beat out Park Forest and three other schools to earn top honors!
MNMS has collected just over 400 items for the State College food bank! Thank you for your help! Last year we collected over 1700 items. Help us boost our donation by sending in nonperishable food items with your students. We are collecting items until Tuesday Feb 4th.

MNMS Student Council is hosting a Winter Dance for 6-7th grade. Tickets are $3. Sold at lunch January 21-24th or at the dance.
Students must wear school appropriate clothing.
The dance will have a DJ, photo booth, and snowball fighting station. There also will be refreshments.

WOW! MNMS has collected almost 450 new toys for Toys for Tots! Thank you students and families for helping to make this year a little more special for so many families!
There is still time to donate an unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots. MNMS homeroom are collecting toys until December 12th! Help our school support the community!
All of MNMS had the amazing opportunity to see and participate in a school day performance by Step Afrika at Eisenhower Auditorium! We learned about stepping, had a chance to try it ourselves, and watched part of the Step Afrika Migration Series inspired by artist Jacob Lawrence.
Help us collect toys for Toys for Tots from now until December 12th! Send any unwrapped toy in with your student. Toys will be collected by Homeroom and the homeroom with the most points will win a prize.
Attention all Students! The Fun Afternoon will be at MNMS on this Friday November 15th from 3:45-5:30. It is free! Thank you Student Council for organizing.

MNMS Spirit Days leading up the school pep rally are Monday Oct 28th- Costumes (no weapons), Tuesday Oct 29th- Sports attire, and Wednesday Oct 30th- Team colors. MNMS Pep Rally will also be Oct 30th at the end of the day. Let's show our school spirit!!
