@SamCKx He was dreadful! Simple aa that. That's not hostile, just what I and millions of others, think. There have terrible Tory PMs too so it's not even party political to call Starmer dreadful.
@LlZTRUSS@joyful_union Lol! Who is doing anything to ruin your life? I've stayed off here for ages and can't believe a minority of echo chamber stuck people are still banging on about Gaza. 🤣 I'd politely question whether it's being wound up on here that is ruining things?
@KazP19 So you're okay being disrespectful to the dead so long as they weren't murdered? I believe in free speech and you have the right to say what you did, but you are a vile perosn.
@lowles_nick No, you can't gaslight people anymore. UTK was peaceful. The other march called for people's death. We have eyes and ears. It's obvious which side is full of hate.
@TedUrchin The media jumped on Boris about cake. I agree with that criticism by the way. But you can't claim bias just because it's now on Starmer. Maybe Kier could have tried being even half decent at the job as then he wouldn't have got so much criticism?
@PeterTatchell Pro business is not a negative thing! You help with the cost of living issues by expanding the economy. I.e. more jobs, more tax revenue
@MrsP32233725@richardosefton Absolutely the point I've made. It's exactly what many on here do too. Nobody will ever win back support by insulting those who vote differently. His speech might please some Labour voters, but has made Reform voters hate him even more.
@dr72w_david I thought it was dreadful. He fell into the same trap that many left wing people do on here, namely insulting Reform, their voters and anyone who leans right. Show me a time in history when insulting the other side brings them round to change their views.
@BladeoftheS There was me thinking there were health systems around Europe with better outcomes, and where the poor don't die because they can't afford it. I hadn't realised it was either the NHS or the US system! How daft of me! 🤣
@TedUrchin I would say it speaks volumes on how far Labour have moved away from their core beliefs. You have to ask why working class people no longer feel that Labour has their back? Whether you agree or not, the votes show that's how they are feeling.
@McardleTrevor Congratulations Trevor. It's definitely proven that calling people stupid, who happen to have different views to you, will change their mind and make them come round to your way of thinking!
@poet_yorkshire@McardleTrevor ...They are people of different colour, different ages, all who get along because their only criteria on welcoming people to their friend group is how nice a person you are. We also debate politics with those in the group who didn't vote Reform. You should try it!
@poet_yorkshire@McardleTrevor Funny that you probably think you're a good person, but you viciously insult those who happen to vote differently to you. I know lots of working class people in my local social club who voted Reform. These people are actually the least judgemental people you'll ever meet....
@mac123_m Of course most people love conservatism. Socialism has been shown time and time again throughout history to be awful. It leads to poverty and hunger. Not surprising that most sensible people reject that.
@TedUrchin@Nigel_Farage "Reform fuckwits"! What an intelligent man you must be - using that well know technique of persuasion whereby you insult people who vote differently to you. It's well proven that those people will instantly change their voting intentions and come round to your way of thinking! 🤣
@parlyparty@TheGreenParty I understand when you're young that the Greens sound enticing, but all I beg you is to look at history. Far-left, socialist govts destroy countries. The poor ending up poorer. By the time you realise what you've done, it would be too late.
