@EvanWritesOnX Hey Evan. I've been at a family wedding all week and just realized I missed the Patreon signup before it closed. Is it still possible for me to join?
@EvanWritesOnX I must say, the way you identify the widely held view, follow up with "this is wrong", and then provide a sharper framework is incredibly refreshing
@EvanWritesOnX Your explanation of information dispersion is much appreciated. Very interested to hear your insights on how the information is gathered. Is it a specific think tank or a VC firm?
@EvanWritesOnX@BuBulshade Fantastic take as always. Could you please educate us on the Saddam Hussein's war with Iran, as well as his invasion of Kuwait? Thank you in advance
π¨Algeria confirmed that work on the 4,100 km Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline will resume soon.
The project would move 30 bcm per year from Nigeria β Niger β Algeria β Mediterranean β Europe.
Why this matters:
β’ 30 bcm = ~6β7% of pre-war EU gas demand
β’ Direct sub-Saharan route into Europe
β’ Strategic diversification away from Russian flows
If completed, this is not just infrastructure.
Itβs a geopolitical corridor.
Europe wants supply security.
Algeria wants transit leverage.
Nigeria wants monetisation of stranded gas.
Execution risk remains high, security in the Sahel is fragile, and financing is complex.
But structurally, Europe is still short molecules.
And Africa is sitting on them.

@EvanWritesOnX When the TPS floods the market with cheap oil, will production eventually become unprofitable, forcing the sale of oil fields to external players like the GCC or China?
@EvanWritesOnX There is a common lack of sound geopolitical understanding about the Yom Kippur War.
Could you please educate us on the TPS-Arab relationship before and after 1973?
@EvanWritesOnX Do Hosni Mubarak and Al-Assad Family fall in the category of "statesmen who let foreign companies keep almost everything in exchange for personal enrichment"?
@EvanWritesOnX Some Global South anti-vaxxers claim that vaccines cause infertility and control the population in high-birth-rate countries.
Do you think that is plausible from a geopolitical standpoint?
