Sometimes, I wonder how much more a family can endure.
We never chose this life. It was forced upon us.
We once had a home, jobs, and dreams for the future. After our home was destroyed, everything changed.

By November 10, another $350 in rent stands between us and losing even the small room we live in.

Sometimes I look at my pillow and wonder: Will these be my last nights sleeping comfortably before my wife, Leo, Zabour, and I are forced out with nowhere to go?
Winter is approaching. Even the smallest contribution, $1 or $5, could help us hold on to this little shelter. ❤️🥺

All morning, Leo kept meowing, searching and asking for food. He was hungry, and after spending so much time looking for something to eat, he became exhausted.

Eventually, he curled up in the sunlight to escape the cold and get a little warmth.
It breaks my heart that I couldn’t give him the meal he was asking for. He’s so innocent, and all he wants is a full belly and a warm place to rest.

I wish I could give him the care he deserves. 💔🐾
