Rape has become a systemic phenomenon in Nigeria that we now trivialise it.

1. There is a lady who was raped and strangled to death inside her house by her neighbour, she got buried yesterday but her killer still remains free because the case got postponed in court

2. Ochanya died at 13 after being raped since she was 8 years old by father and son. She died from complications from Vesicovaginal Fistula.

3. Fems and her friend got raped by a supposed employer and their rapist is remanded in jail now.

4. A video of a man went viral while he was attempting to assault an 8 year old until a woman caught him and starting beating him. The men in that video were asking for him to be left alone

Traumas and pain have been introduced into the lives of these victims and their families.

But it is Mirabel that will stop you from speaking against rape? In a country like Nigeria where justice has to be stifled out of the system?

I can only speak for myself — I will NEVER stop calling out rapists and pedophiles. None born of a woman ON THIS APP OR OUTSIDE is enough to make me not fight against this evil.
