Four suspected railway cable thieves were arrested in Hartbeespoort after security officers tracked their vehicle and coordinated an interception on the R511 at Meerhof.
The suspects,
three men and a woman, all Zimbabwean nationals are believed to be linked to railway infrastructure and cable theft in Rustenburg.
A search recovered cash, heavy-duty bolt cutters and industrial work gear.
They were handed over to police for further investigation.
