Happy National Museum Day from the MMOT! The Museum of Tolerance Los Angeles laid the foundation for bringing the MMOT to life. As an extension of MOT, we take the same lessons about history, tolerance, and human rights directly to schools and communities across the country.

The MMOT had an impactful stop at BART Charter Public School in Adams, MA, where every grade from 6 through 12 took part in our workshops. Students explored empathy, the value of speaking up for others, and how the lessons of history connect to the challenges of today.

We teach the Holocaust through Anne Frank’s story, showing what life looked like under Nazi persecution.
Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Mobile Museums of Tolerance reflect on a leader who helped transform the Civil Rights Movement. His work advanced the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
