From day one, improving public safety has been the top priority of our administration and the response of communities, large and small, across our state to the Blue Shield program shows that Missourians want to have safer streets and support law enforcement.
Blue Shield communities are now able to apply for funding through @MoPublicSafety to further bolster public safety with $10 million in grants for training, equipment, and technology.

We would rather beat the heat than a dead horse, but it looks like we'll be doing both for several more days. High temperatures will remain in the 90s with heat indices of 100-105 for most areas. #mowx#ilwx#stlwx
Hazardous heat continues today with heat indices near or above 100° across the area. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 7 PM today. Strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon into the evening mainly for northwestern MO.
