Really? You have to ask? Montgomery County got rid of mandatory attendance, inflated grades and threatened teachers with having their grade books, audited, wasted money on ridiculous, legal fees, taking lost cases to the Supreme Court (to lose again). Inflated the numbers of central office staff and administrators at a ridiculous level while enrollment goes down. Spent tons money to write and rewrite curriculum even when audits said there are plenty of great curriculums out there, even for free - but the grift continued until the state stepped in.
And you have to ask?
We also now know that @MCPS elementary principals sent a memo last fall objecting to what they viewed as inappropriate content in books, anti-religion bias in discussion guides & dishonest explanations from the district. Press conference tomorrow iA. 4/4 https://t.co/azBzx2aQqT
