It sure as hell wouldn't be Gaetchje. There's at least a dozen fighters ahead of him in accomplishments, earned revenue for the UFC, title fight wins, etc. Gaetchje has done jack shit. He's 11-5 in the UFC and barely won a title fight against an opponent who went blind during the fight.

Something didn't look right. Even before the swelling set in, the marks looked dark red with scratches. Didn't look like punch marks.

From reports I've seen his face was fractured in the 2nd round, maybe even late in the 1st. Started losing vision in the first. Broken orbital bone. Later on the nose was broken too, which is probably what caused both eyes to start swelling shut. Wouldn't be surprised if his retina detached either based on his eye movement and full loss of vision on one side.

All fighters bleed, moron. Topuria hasn't had a fight where his face looked abnormally marked up. I wasn't able to see one scratch during the KO win against Oliveira. He had 2 small cuts in the KO win against Max. Both those guys smoked Gaethje.

Also Gaethje isn't some 1st/2nd round knock out artist who "hits like a truck." He typically gets his finishes late in the fight when opponents have cardio issues and damage has already accumulated. I would argue Topuria hits harder, had Gaethje rocked multiple times and dropped him with body shots in the 2nd.

Khabib has bled in fights, but that's a poor comparisoan anyway. He's a grappler who managed to avoid taking a lot of shots because he wasn't standing and trading majority of the time.
