@eterna_ @yuzokoshiro More strings = louder, but also brighter tone. As the piano goes from thick double-wound bass strings to less thick single-wounds, they are naturally quieter, hence duochords (2 strings per key), then again to unwound strings, trichords (3 per key) :)

@yuzokoshiro What an interesting technique! I'm a piano technician myself, but I've never seen anyone play and turn the lever in such a rhythmic way.
