@davidyelland@ManCity Build up your commercial footprint steadily like other clubs. Commercial success is not a closed shop. Big clubs are big because of success over decades. If ADUG choose to pull out now City will go broke as they canโt pay their own way independently.
@FT_Durk You could always try arguing that Abu Dhabi United Group were too busy eyeing the Premier League trophy to have time to demonstrate their football clubโs true independent commercial viability?
@CITYDianaa Manchester City could not have independently operated commercially to the level required by FFP without the backing of their ownersโ cash. It was a fraud. And one that would have collapsed the MCFC immediately if the owners then had been forced to sell the club at short notice.
@spectator@richardpbacon My uncleโs dementia has caused all sorts of family fall out. We think heโs in a care home, thatโs all we know. The UKโs fingers-crossed approach to caring for elderly relatives is less than optimal.
Similarly, my maternal uncle, a dementia patient who went to jail, (and who lived with us for three months after), has been spirited away by his wife never to be seen. Persona non grata.

Being a United fan with City mates, all of us living in Manchester. Itโs hard watching old friends staring at the ceiling, knowing the Maine Road franchise is heading out to New York.
