Beware! Nowhere is safe @DublinAirport . I had two coats stolen from me on 24th May 2026 which I left on a seat as I sat at the departure gate, inside a secure area. Not handed in as lost property so I have now had to report it to @GardaTraffic
@Suewilson91 They’ve got other damage to cause the UK before they put us back into the EU. If the EU is such a great idea, why did our GDP growth outstrip France, Germany, and Italy after we left? I’ll wait.
@daniellismore Is that “the fortune” that came from our GDP growth outstripping France, Germany and Italy or the “fortune” which was added to the NHS budget.
@danielanadj77 Europe is a geographical term. Continental might be a better description of identity. 24 miles of sea is a rather more concrete border than a line on a map. Hence the British mind set is necessarily more independent of cultural group think.
@irlchrism@danielanadj77 There was a queue for non Schengen destinations. The process at the desk may have differed but the regulations relate to Schengen and not the EU.
@AndrewHWestern Quiet right the best way to deal with ideas we don’t like is to suppress their discussion rather than engage and win the argument. This is why socialism and liberalism are failing. Censure is not the answer.
@irlchrism@danielanadj77 So am I. Flying from Catania, in May, the flights were split between Schengen - no checks - and a barrier and checks for non Schengen. Ireland is not in Schengen. but Switzerland is. The Swiss flight to Zurich was on the Schengen side.
@paullewismoney It is probably just you because the rest of us realise that our taxes are spent on a myriad of things including defence and the NHS. If you want to give more make voluntary contributions to HMRC. No?
@MHartleyJones Absolutely no evidence of the corruption you allege. The charge was explored in court and dismissed. If your argument were to hold you would presumably have dismissed the 1975 referendum https://t.co/ujzQsrdPyc?
@CockertonMark The regulations are for the Schengen area. Even when we were in EU, we were not part of Schengen, so would face the same queues even if we were still in the EU. It is not Farage‘s fault that we are not in Schengen, since we didn’t even join as EU members. Facts matter.
