Minister of State for Defence and National Service, Aishath Safoora met with Brigadier General Trent Gibson, Adjutant General of the Montana National Guard.

At the meeting, discussions were focused on strengthening Maldives–US cooperation in disaster management and emergency response, expanding opportunities for joint training and capacity building, and enhancing community preparedness and resilience through collaborative initiatives.
