Growing a business is crazy, very crazy work. You’re constantly juggling so many things at once. Just when you’re locked in on one area that needs attention, something else pops up and completely catches you off guard. Some situations be like, did this really just happen inside my own business?

@gkbalogs Soon enough, people wanted other beauty services in one space so we expanded and partnered to offer more beauty services- nails, makeup, lash extensions and now skincare retail.

It’s been a beautiful journey and we’re going to be 10 years next month 😁

@gkbalogs Completely agree with this! When we started our hair salon in 2016. We wanted to cater to the natural hair community and wig wearers.
We soon discovered that everyone wanted healthier hair, even those with relaxed hair. So we had to include them.

@Msmenalicious Low manipulation and proper hydration will trump products any day.
Focus on letting your hair just rest. Constant manipulation is what causes the most breakage. Also fix your diet, check your iron levels, your hair follicles may not be getting the right amount of what it needs.

@zrosey_ How about filling up the bowl with just rice and having the chicken or turkey wrapped up in foil. That way the food is properly covered and there’s no risk of puncture or damage during transit.

The amount of sexually explicit/graphic artwork that’s been paraded in traffic these days is really worrisome.
Everywhere you turn, there are nude and almost nude female portraits on display for sale. In traffic!!! Kids are on the road fgs!!! 😭😭😭

@osemagnum @AdesuaEtomiW I saw my sister go through this in her first pregnancy. So was frail, skinny and jaundiced. It was the first time I ever heard about it and it was really bad.

@pst_iren I’m very grateful that our parents taught us this very early in life.
We’ve passed through our fair share of life’s challenges and continue to stay strong. The Bible says “when you pass through the fire, I will be with you”
It’s a “when” not “if”.
