I believe this was UC's first win as a home underdog since the very memorable win over UCF on 10/4/19.

This game's line close at K-State -5.5 at most books after being at -6.5 most of the week.

This is the most points the Bearcats have been catching as an underdog in an outright win since the Pitt game (+7) in Week 2 of 2023.

UC gained 8.54 yards per play...436 yards on 51 snaps. Cole and Tabb were just terrific.

Malachi Henry - who I believe had zero career punt returns before tonight - with a huge one in the second half.

Avery Johnson threw the ball 50 times, a new career high. Averaged 6.8 per carry, but a manageable 38 yards total. I don't know why K-State doesn't call more QB-designed runs.

Fun game. Cool atmospshere. Nip at Night is the best.

Halftime Analysis:

The helmets are cool.

Bearcats are extremely fortunate to only be down a touchdown. UC has more penalty yards than passing yards.

Lotta weirdness. Entire O-line being off on the snap count on one play. Third and six run toward the less-good half of the O-line. Near disaster on the kickoff at the end of the half.
