Discussions focused on innovative filtration & desalination approaches to provide sustainable cost-effective solutions for vulnerable communities. International partners & WASH Agencies joined to validate these innovative solutions, tackling water quality challenges for a sustainable future.

April 16, 2026 — The newly appointed Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, FGS Ms. Nadiifo Aadan Isaaq, officially assumed office today following a handover ceremony held at the Ministry headquarters.
The event was attended by the Minister, Abdullahi Bidhan, State Minister Mohamed Abdulahi, the Director General, department directors, advisors and staff.
The Ministry leadership warmly welcomed the Deputy Minister, congratulated her on her appointment,and wished her success in her new role.
