What do you think - will AI create new demand faster than it erodes the old, or are these companies racing to automate away the customers they're valued on?

The AI boom has a flaw that almost no one is pricing in -- it may be coming for its own customers.
If AI displaces white-collar knowledge workers - programmers, analysts, researchers, paralegals, marketers - who will buy the products and services that fuel the economy?

My view - the companies capturing the AI windfalls should invest in reskilling and workforce transition. Not as charity, but as demand preservation. In the long run, even the most powerful AI companies need a growing base of customers with disposable income to spend.
@MohammedGuller@elonmusk@Tesla I totally agree with this. We are still waiting for a response from them since 10 days now and no one responds since all calls go to voicemails which are not heard by anyone. It's very disappointing! @Tesla
I love my model S and X, but Tesla customer service seems to be getting worse and worse. It has gone from amazing to pathetic. @elonmusk@tesla I understand that Tesla needs to reduce cost to survive, but bad customer service will turn loyal customers away.
