On Juneteenth, we commemorate the anniversary of the delayed but welcome news of freedom reaching the enslaved Black folks in Galveston, Texas. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope — and a reason to keep building a country that lives up to its highest ideals.
@Praveen_reddy @forcurtwt @anujchristian Work ethic isn’t stellar for regular Americans(government agencies). Who cares for the quiet, law abiding tax paying immigrants? If you are not documented it’s easier to get your license renewed than for people like is. How fair is it?
My company's attorney had upload the entire documents they sent to USCIS for a routine H1B extension. It was 120+ pages!
This is for the same position at the same company for which I've had many extensions before.
What purpose does this "extreme vetting" solve?
Countering the EAGLE Act lies is tiresome. The EAGLE Act doesn't increase green cards, isn't amnesty, doesn't hand out permanent employment authorization documents, doesn't increase chain migration, doesn't lead to no caps on foreign workers, AND THAT'S A SHAME.
The birth country is not a skill; birth country has no place in skilled immigration. National origin discrimination in green cards is hurting our children. #HR3648 protects American jobs through B1/B2 amendments.

Having to deny that a bill does something, but then say I really wish it did do that thing you are criticizing it for doing is a real messy fact check. Criticize the bill for actually doing something good that you think is bad! Please!
@TravelGov Death in a family in your home country or even your parents does not qualify as an emergency because you don't need to return to your family in the US. How insensitive America has become. Letting legal immigrants (mostly brown) see their families has become a deterrent now.
We are pretty much invisible to all the activist. you know who these people are—
While the country shamelessly collects the high taxes we pay, giving us minimal rights. In my opinion it is unfair and unjust. Who cares to listen to middle income brown woman of Indian origin?
My latest, attempting to put the massive backlogs throughout the entire immigration system into context: More than a million could die waiting for green cards as U.S. immigration buckles amid COVID https://t.co/DFD7RHiXsN
