What are the biggest needs? And who are the partners, individual and institutional, that we can work with to address them?
We are grateful to the many people who have contributed time and talent and energy and resources since our founding.
In the coming weeks, we'll begin the process of checking in with members of the community, itself in the process of resuming and restarting, to listen to how we can be of service. What if anything has changed in fundamental ways? Are there areas of progress?
It's been almost 2 years since we last were able to plan and present a MoJo Fest or other activities to further our mission, but now it's time to resume - and, in some ways, restart - the work of our Foundation.
And what a different world we awoke to THIS morning! Between the tumult of social change and politics, and the devastating pandemic, much has changed in the arts world and the world we all inhabit.
Six years ago today, we awoke to a world without our namesake Jo Howarth Noonan. Only days later was born the central idea for our Foundation: Creating more and better opportunities for older women in theater.
