القاء این ایده که افکار عمومی مردم ایران در وقوع جنگ تاثیر بسزایی داشته فرافکنی است.

این صدا که توسط اکانت تلگرامی ایلیا هاشمی منتشر و برای حفظ هویت راوی، صدایش تغییر داده شده، روایت تکان‌دهنده‌ای از بازداشت، شکنجه، و بدرفتاری شدید با یکی از معترضان تجمعات شب ۱۸ دی‌ماه است. راوی توضیح می‌دهد که چگونه در حوالی ساعت هشت شب، همراه با جمعی از معترضان و با شعار «جاوید شاه» به خیابان آمده بود و در همان ساعات اولیه شاهد تیراندازی نیروهای حکومتی به سمت مردم و کشته شدن چند نفر در برابر چشمان خود شد. او همچنین شرح می‌دهد که چگونه در می��نه درگیری‌ها، دو زن را که توسط نیروهای بسیجی از مو کشیده می‌شدند نجات داده‌اند و پس از آن، هنگام فرار از صحنه، خود او هدف تعقیب قرار گرفته، پس از اصابت باتوم و آسیب شدید، بازداشت و به بازداشتگاهی نامعلوم منتقل شده است. بخش مهم دیگری از ویدیو به روایت او از ��وران بازداشت اختصاص دارد؛ جایی که می‌گوید ۲۵ روز کامل نور خورشید را ندیده و در تمام این مدت تقریباً همواره با چشم‌بند نگهداری شده است. او از شکنجه‌های مکرر، ضرب‌وشتم در جریان بازجویی، شکستن انگشت بازداشت‌شدگان، خرد شدن دندان‌هایش بر اثر ضربه با میله آهنی، و تهدید به کشیدن باقی دندان‌هایش با انبردست سخن می‌گوید. راوی همچنین توضیح می‌دهد که بازجویان او را مجبور کرده‌اند برگه‌هایی را با چشم‌بند امضا کند و حتی وادارش کرده‌اند پیام‌های صوتی دروغینی برای خانواده برخی کشته‌شدگان ضبط کند و مسئولیت قتل فرزندانشان را به دروغ بپذیرد. در بخش‌های دیگر، ویدیو به شرایط غیرانسانی نگهداری در بازداشتگاه می‌پردازد؛ از جمله ندادن غذا و آب برای مدت طولانی، ریختن آب جوش در دهان او پس از درخواست آب، بستن او به میله و شلاق زدن پس از ریختن ماده‌ای سوزناک روی بدنش، و مجبور کردن او به شنیدن صدای شکنجه دو نوجوان ۱۶ یا ۱۷ ساله. او همچنین از نگه‌داشتن بازداشت‌شدگان در هوای بسیار سرد و زیر برف، در حالی که فقط یک شورت به تن داشتند و با چشم‌بند، دست‌بند و پابند بسته شده بودند، یاد می‌کند. این ویدیو تصویری روشن از شدت سرکوب، استفاده از خشونت مرگبار علیه معترضان، و الگوی شکنجه و رفتار غیرانسانی در بازداشتگاه‌ها ارائه می‌دهد. در عین حال، با توجه به محدودیت‌های شدید در دسترسی به اطلاعات مستقل، قطع ارتباطات، و فضای امنیتی حاکم، مستندسازی و راستی‌آزمایی کامل این قبیل روایت‌ها همچنان با دشواری جدی روبه‌رو است. همین محدودیت‌ها نشان می‌دهد که ثبت و انتشار چنین شهادت‌هایی برای روشن شدن حقیقت و پیگیری پاسخگویی اهمیت حیاتی دارد.
