72hrs in Jos!

After a long overstay and tortuous three days following the conclusion of MTN Champs in Jos, my colleagues and I have now safely returned to Lagos.

The last batch returned this afternoon, and we are happy and grateful to everyone who pulled the strings behind the scenes to make this happen.

I do hope that @flyvaluejet is magnanimous enough to offer us a full refund - for the 30+ unused tickets (we have with them); which led us to getting new tickets on other airlines, just to get our team out of Jos.

Value Jet's communication is abysmal, and offering customers minimal solution to "your own problem," doesn't speak good of your company.

Hopefully, this is behind us now, but please refund our money in full.

I am stuck in Jos alongside my colleagues, because @flyvaluejet cancelled our flight yesterday (after we had checked in), without giving us any explanation.

Not only were we left stranded at the airport, they didn't even offer us a quicker path out of Jos; and we will be here a few more days.

It was only when we got into the city around past 7pm, that we heard about the apprehension around town.

ValueJet don't fly from Jos on Tuesdays, and we will be here at least until Wednesday, that's if they have not sold-out their flight for that day as well.

We are bearing the heavy cost of our overstay, and there's no form of compensation from them.

I had a swell time at @LISinternationl’s conference today and it was also 10 years anniversary of Tega Onajife celebrating Ladies in Sports and setting standards also.

My major take away was “as a woman, when you sit at the table, ensure to pull an extra chair for another woman”
