How hard is it to travel during Golden Week in Japan? I was thinking of going to Japan in April through to May, but I don't know if I should try and battle large crowds
@oriari_Bs3148 A few years ago, I returned to Australia from Japan with a picture with a wooden frame, but I had it in my luggage. I think it might be easier if I got it in person, but you are right, it would probably be very difficult. Maybe next year if I go to Japan lol
I can't afford multiple trips, and it'd be nice to go with other people, but I just want to go on a trip to get away from it all, especially after spending two years working full time plus working part time on a thesis.
I was thinking of going to Japan next year for a few months for language study, but I am also considering going to Central or South America, or even Borneo, just to photograph ants.
Everyone keeps saying Australia has scary dangerous animals, but we don't have bears, so I have no idea what people from other countries are complaining about. A saltwater crocodile has never broken into my workplace and gone on a rampage
This is another way of saying other than posting about ants, practicing Japanese and some illustrators I follow I kind of hate everything else on this website lol
It feels like everything is becoming an daycare these days, whether it is travel or hobbies. Everything is a product that has to cater to everyone. I think in the future there will be the hobbies for the masses and a handful of fans who run their hobbies like the Freemasons lol
@lidingguo8 She died a while ago ☹️. I have just been looking after a few colonies for now. After I finish my thesis, I want to try and raise ponerine ants again
I wanted to get a new book to read, and thought I would try reading a Japanese author. Kinokuniya has a section with modern Japanese authors, but every book was about a mysterious bookshop or convenience store lol
