Multi national companies evade taxes and drain the economy by 400 billion rands annually through illicit financial flows.

Foreigners make billions of rands in the township, and inner city economy. They don���t pay taxes but they use the infrastructure and social services provided by SA taxpayers.

Annually over 50 billion is lost to wasteful and irregular expenditure.

Instead of the government combatting illicit financial flows, making foreigners pay taxes for running businesses in SA and recovering all money lost to irregular expenditure. ANC government wants to target poor South Africans by increasing VAT. This is at the time where most South Africans are struggling to make ends meet.
