As a Super Bowl MVP voter last year, I wondered: "Can I vote for Vic Fangio?!" Josh Sweat, Cooper DeJean were among defensive players under strong consideration.

Ultimately, I voted for Jalen Hurts — he finished 17 of 22 for 221 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, and the most rushing yards ever by a QB in the Super Bowl. It was his best game of the season based on EPA/play, and better than any in the Super Bowl against a Steve Spagnuolo-coached defense.

I don't think anyone has that argument tonight. I'd probably go to D. Witherspoon if I were voting, but a few options on defense could split votes. (And you wonder, can M. Macdonald get a vote?!)
