I totally understand there are staffing issues and huge strains on hospitals, but I haven't been seen by a doctor since 11pm Tuesday despite the fact they still haven't 100% ruled out appendicitis. What a palaver

Staying in a hospital ward as a patient really gives you a different view of what it's like to be a health professional!

So called "urgent" CT scan delayed once again (was supposed to be wednesday morning, will now be tomorrow at the earliest) and I discover noone has added anything to my notes for 48 hours!

Finally getting a CT scan on Saturday to work out whether my wrist is broken or not 🏥 so frustrating nearly 3 weeks after my fall to still not even know what's happened

@ChloeNkomo We've been told to make sure we take time off to enjoy the holidays, but we have a heavily weighted exam the first week back (and a full day of lectures and placement that week too)

@ChloeNkomo I'm 2nd year and we've been talking about this a lot recently! If I feel burnout as someone with no kids and no commute, I can't imagine how those who have to travel and also have other people to care for feel

Left my house at 9:15 this morning, expecting to get back to my house in Manchester around 12:30 - now it's 3pm and I've not long left Crewe! Absolutely knackered (and freezing)

Looking forward to my first meeting with our musical director as Manager of Manchester University Brass Band. It's going to be a tough year, after 18 months of no rehearsal we're starting with a whole new group of students (none of whom I've met!)

I seem to have a birch allergy (my hayfever starts when birch pollen season starts) and raw onion, nectarines, tomatoes and Mango (which are all related to birch) make my mouth burn like mad!

Made the mistake this morning of eating a nectarine, despite knowing I was likely to react to it 🤦🏻‍♀️ one day I'll actually ask my doctor about Oral Allergy Syndrome - I'm convinced that's what is happening!
