So impressed with these 2nd grade goal clubs! Each club is working together to improve their fluency, tracking of longer books, and understanding of literary language. It’s so awesome to watch them blossom as readers! #weareASD
Mrs. Kaster taught us an important lesson that things are hard before they get easier with practice. She helped us break down the skill of teen digit subtraction with an awesome visual. It was so fun to see the students “aha” moments! I love learning from colleagues! #WeAreASD
Did you know that pandas eat for 16 hours a day, that caterpillar eggs are sticky so they can stick to leaves, or that one dragonfly eye is made up of thousands of lenses?! These are just a few facts I learned from the students during our expert museum! They amaze me! #WeAreASD
Today students planned their own experiments with a partner and began writing their own lab report! I am so excited to see how their experiments turn out. I am so amazed at their hardwork during this unit! #WeAreASD#Writelikeascientist
The second grade hallway was bare on Friday...as classrooms participated in a variety of poetry celebrations! 🎉What an exciting day as 2nd graders had the chance to recite their poetry in front of an audience! @AKupsh@mloew12@MollyRoethle#WeAreASD#ASDLiteracy
We had an amazing day in Writers’ Workshop launching our lab reports unit. Today we learned how to write like scientists by conducting a class experiment! #WeAreASD#writelikeascientist
