🤖 Haaland again the safest bet. Golden boot probably safe but knowing him he will want more and add its Peps last game in charge. I think they will want to put on a show against drunk Villa.

⚽️ Welbeck has been dodging points and getting the hook on 75 mins but against his old team + the potential champions league place up for grabs, he could be a nice option.

GW38 could be crazy when it comes to rotation but there are teams who still have things to play for:

Relegation battle 🗑️

Goes without saying West Ham and Spurs will be going full power and you cannot get bigger motivation than staying in the Premier League.

Champions league qualification 🏆

Getting into the CL is game changing for clubs. We know Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa have already qualified.

Liverpool are not 100% certain although it’s looking good. LFC still need a point to guarantee CL football so I expect them to be full power come Sunday.

If Aston Villa lose to Manchester City and LFC beat Brentford it would mean we get 6 teams into the CL as Aston Villa finish 5th and already won the European cup.

This scenario provides more motivation for other teams!

Bournemouth and Brighton will have motivation for GW38 because of this scenario!

One of them can qualify for the champions league so I expect both of those teams to be full strength.

Bournemouth need a point and Brighton need Bournemouth to lose and they beat Manchester United.

Europa league qualification 🏆

We could have 1 or 2 spots in this depending on where Aston Villa finish as if we get 6 CL spots then one Europa spot is taken away.

Brighton are 1 point ahead of Chelsea and Brentford. A win for Brighton guarantees European football but If they lose and Chelsea beat Sunderland then Chelsea overtake them.

Sunderland could even finish in the top 7 if they win and Brighton and Brentford drop points.

This tells me Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea and Sunderland will be full power on Sunday.

The others 🤔

Arsenal are champions and probably started celebrations but of course have the CL final to think about so rotation will be in place with managed minutes.

Manchester City don’t have anything to play for but with this likely being Peps last game in charge maybe we do get a solid team. Haaland the goal scoring machine will have no remorse for sure and wants to cement that golden boot.

Manchester United don’t have anything to play for but Bruno chasing that assist record plus they’ve been playing 1 game a week makes me feel we see near full strength.

Aston Villa will be in party mood so apart from pride rotation could be crazy. Rogers 90 min 🔒

Newcastle, Everton and Fulham are on 49 points with poor goal difference means not much to play for but Newcastle could try to overtake rivals Sunderland for bragging rights.

Palace don’t really care and this match is purely fitness and structure ahead of the final so rotation and managed minutes.

Leeds and Forest happy they staying up so it’s tough to know what teams that put out.
