For the first time, the original Pakistani cypher — cable I-0678, the document that triggered the removal of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan — released in full by Drop Site.

The classified document, known as a cypher, shows that State Department diplomats had threatened in 2022 that Pakistan would suffer greatly if Khan remained in office, but that “all would be forgiven” if he were removed in a no-confidence vote.

The Biden administration was infuriated over Khan’s refusal to grant rights for U.S. drone bases in Pakistan, as well as his neutral stance on the Russia-Ukraine war.

This is what people need to understand about Mohammad Rizwan, as a Test wicketkeeper-batter, hardly anyone comes close to him, and after a long time Pakistan finally has a settled and reliable player in that position.

Format mixing can be avoided if people understand these little things.

I just hope Rizwan creates history tomorrow morning and answers a lot of the unfair criticism and narratives against arguably the best wicketkeeper-batter in Pakistan’s Test cricket.

If, there are backup options like Ghazi Ghori and others, and they may have talent, but first people should appreciate the way Rizwan has rescued Pakistan’s batting countless times over the years.

Having said that, Rizwan also needs to manage the tail better, just like he did with Hasan Ali today and in the first innings.
