“You deserve to earn according to what you have learned” so those petty traders on the street what did they learn and what are they doing now? . You can’t support Obi and not sound dumb.
So you think all 200million Nigerians are all graduates 😂, so only graduates should be focused on and older people who didn’t have school Cert and are doing petty tradings should be neglected.
He’ll probably end up happier than a lot of people. He lived life on his own terms, did what he wanted. When he’s old, he’ll probably look back and just laugh about everything.
Honestly the scariest thing about Nigerian politics is information.
If I didn't read. If I didn't research. If I just felt the pain of expensive food and stopped there.
I would be against Tinubu today.
And I would be wrong.
That's the honest truth I have to admit.
Because the pain is real. I'm not going to sit here and tell you things are not hard. They are hard. I feel it too.
But when you understand what subsidy removal actually means. When you understand what a fixed artificial exchange rate was doing to this economy behind the scenes. When you understand what past presidents had and what they chose to do with it.
You stop being angry at the man fixing the problem.
You start being angry at the men who created it and left.
Obasanjo had the oil boom. He built Abuja roads and left.
Jonathan had the highest oil revenue in Nigerian history. He left us with nothing but debt and Dasukigate.
Buhari had eight years. Eight. He gave us more debt, more poverty and a broken naira.
Then Tinubu came and met the bill.
Not the party. The bill.
And he's paying it while you're calling him criminal.
The information is out there. The problem is most people don't want to find it. They want to feel something and call that politics.

No other democratically elected President has been able to make such reformative history in such a short time. And that is why President Tinubu is a man of unprecedented HISTORY!

Keep throwing nylon and plastic into the gutter.
Then when the rain comes and your street floods, you’ll say, Nigeria happened.

I usually stay away from this Baba Adeboye topic, but the way we reduce every serious National argument to simplistic, polarizing lines, where we shift the real issues aside to debate irrelevant distractions is really exhausting.
People can be partisan, using objective/funny arguments to support their bias. Even so, they can also be dangerously, foolishly and selfishly partisan. It’s simply partisanship.
But that does not automatically make them tribal bigots, for crying out loud. Sometimes it’s politics or relationships. You can always criticize that and strongly. But this new scope that name-tags anyone who is Yoruba and political biased towards Tinubu as a tribal bigot is disturbing. Is that sufficient evidence for bigotry? Or we don’t have non-Yorubas who would also never criticize Tinubu or other politicians of the same ethnic extraction as them that they are close to or benefitting from?
Tinubu could have done nothing.
That was the easiest choice.
Keep the subsidy. Let the naira stay artificially fixed. Smile for cameras.
Do four years. Collect your legacy. Go home.
Nigerians would have loved him for it.
No protest. No remove Tinubu.
Just peace.
But your fuel would still be smuggled to Niger. Your dollar would still be 1,500 on the street while government cronies buy it at 400. Your children would still inherit a country running on borrowed time and borrowed money.
You would be happy.
And your children would suffer for your happiness.
That is exactly what every president before him chose. And you called them good men.
Imagine you have a doctor.
Previous doctors kept giving you painkillers. You felt fine. You liked those doctors.
This new doctor looks at your scan and says your organs are failing. We need surgery. It will hurt. You will hate me for it. But if we don't do this now, you will die in five years.
You're currently outside the hospital with a microphone calling the surgeon a criminal.
The painkillers felt better.
But the painkillers were killing you.
Nigeria emerged as the highest-performing African economy on the economic performance pillar of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, outperforming five other African countries assessed in the report. https://t.co/s8PGmiF49E
The Akara woman makes 5,000 profit everyday.
You get paid 150K every month
But you think you are better than her because there is AC in your office?
😂😂😂
You have forgotten that you spend 45,000 on transport and at the end of the day she has more disposable cash than you
The outrage in reaction to the is just stupid. Not everyone is qualified for big jobs. And in the process of trying to create jobs for the less qualified they've given out grants to help some people state business
What's all the crying about?
“To start Akara business doesn't take a lot of money. To start roasting corn and kuli-kuli doesn't take much. We didn't give them a loan, we gave them a grant. We have encouraged Nigerians as best as we could.”
- First Lady Remi Tinubu
The rampant insecurity you see today is not new. It did not suddenly appear overnight.
The only reason why it seems overwhelming now is because many of you have contributed to weakning the lines that kept you safe from Chaos .
The reason many of you have the luxury of debating Insecurities from the comfort of your homes is because, for years, men have stood between you and chaos. Men have bled. Men have died. Men have endured hardship, hunger, and terror so that violence would not reach your doorstep.
Yet today, from behind glowing screens and fragile convictions, many choose to mock those same men.
You insult soldiers. You disparage their sacrifices. You discourage young people from joining the military. You celebrate desertion as though abandoning one’s post is an act of courage rather than a betrayal of duty.
Meanwhile, evil does not sleep.
Terrorists recruit every day. They do not relent. They flow across borders , Niger , Chad , CAR , Libya , from every direction, driven by a singular purpose: to loot, to kill, to conquer, and to destroy. They dream of beheading your fathers, violating mothers, brutalizing your daughters, and enslaving children. Their commitment to violence is unwavering.
We understand this reality. That is why good men have continued to hold the line.
But instead of strengthening their hands, many of you stab them in the back. You belittle every gain. You dismiss every sacrifice. You tell young men not to join the Military , forgetting a simple truth that every civilization throughout history has understood:
Someone must stand guard.
Every generation enjoys the protection provided by men willing to do what others cannot. As long as humanity exists, evil will exist. Peace is not the natural state of man; it is the product of strength, vigilance, and sacrifice.
The Stoics understood this. Marcus Aurelius understood this. Civilization survives not because evil disappears, but because disciplined and courageous men refuse to yield to it.
You have made enlistment unfashionable, especially in the Southeast, where every recruitment cycle now shows the wound you inflicted. Across the country the number of men willing to stand the watch grows smaller because you have convinced a generation that hating the uniform is the same as hating the government. You are wrong. You are attacking the only institution that still separates order from the abyss. Evil does not negotiate. It does not tire. It requires good men who are willing to answer savagery with disciplined ruthlessness. Without them, your comfort is borrowed time.
Presidents come and go.
Governments rise and fall.
But the nation must endure.
Your first loyalty should not be to a politician. It should be to your land, your people, and the constitution that binds them together. A president occupies an office temporarily. The country belongs to generations.
And if one day the military is diminished, if the men holding the line become overstretched, exhausted, and impossible to reinforce, reality will return with brutal clarity.
The first law of survival is self-preservation.
The Soldier will realize he owes nothing to those who have stabbed him in the back. When that moment comes, the shield lifts. And you, who have never thrown a real punch in your life, who have zero combat experience, who have lived your entire existence behind the protection of other men’s courage, will learn what the world looks like when the thin veneer of civilization is ripped away.
Those who spent years attacking the very institutions that protected them will discover what it means to stand alone in a world where no one is left to Hold the Frontline.
And on that day Goat-fucking Terrorist will take you. They will use your body however they please, violating you with hot iron, stringing you upside down from Oshodi bridge so the vultures can finish you .
