🟪 Monad Audit Competition is LIVE!
@category_xyz just kicked off a 28-day audit competition for Monad with @code4rena for the largest prize pool of $504k USDC total.
🔗To join: https://t.co/SjrATJflJ6
Key date: Submissions close Oct 12, 9pm GMT+1
What’s up for grabs:
$500k to wardens who find real bugs & get paid, where:
-$480k is reserved for the most severe & unique issues
-$20k for QA finds
-Plus awards for judges & scouts
The public audit is the last big stress test. If history’s any guide, this level of scrutiny signals mainnet will happen once fixes land.
GMonad and keep clicking the purple chain!
🟪Monad Client is fully Open-Source!
This is what real decentralization looks like! Open code gives power to the community.
Both halves of monad node are live on GitHub, and Nads have full access to;
- the transaction engine ( which executes txs, keeps state) and
- the block maker (bft consensus that orders txs)

🔗 Consensus client: https://t.co/BIbFJdubJ5
Why this is a big deal:
-Anyone can read the code, audit it, and prove the chain does what it says.
-Open clients allow for more contributors, more implementations, fewer single-points of failure.
-Builders can optimize the engine, improve RPCs, ship explorers/bots/tools without guessing.
-And yes, you as a Nad can Spin up a node on a modern CPU and see how blocks are proposed, finalized, and executed; end to end.
Big ups to the team at @category_xyz for years of hard work to make this happen!
Keep exploring the ecosystem, Mainnet is literally upon us.
Gmonad!
