finally a good take on this
everyone was over the moon when primmie got picked up even tho he was mostly a ranked demon with barely any experience. no one questioned why he made such a huge jump. why are we expecting an actual pro with multiple titles to “prove herself” first?
This viral tweet and accompanying video is a textbook example of how racists distort and manipulate media to incite pile-ons.
Their target seems to be a lovely young woman but she isn't white and that's all the excuse these racists need.
Here's the truth behind the video: /1
One of my biggest pet peeves in League is how people try to retroactively act like a team who fails was never good.
People did it with C9 in the LCS, BLG when they were 1-2, TL when they're eliminated & many others. A team can be incredible for most of the year, and also underperform at Worlds - it doesn't mean they were shit the rest of the year as well.
People in my mentions acting like it was obvious BLG would be losing at Worlds & TL weren't looking incredible for almost all of Summer are just straight delusional.

🧵I’ve read through the evidence section—the first 85 pages—of Jack Smith filing on Trump’s private criminal efforts to stay in power despite knowing that he’d lost the election.
The evidence is stunning. It’s clear why Trump did not want the public to see this testimony.
13 things jumped out to me on Trump’s attempt to defraud the American people and steal the 2020 election.

🦙: "Ever since then, I learned and achieved and gained so many things. But if I could give up all these things just to return to that moment, I would. That's just how happy and good the memories I got were...
So thank you for giving me these memories. I hope you are always happy and healthy. I hope that I may return and greet you again some day 🙂"
Jets RB Breece Hall talks about his college days with his roommate at the time, Brock Purdy:
"For me it was just seeing how hard Brock worked in college and Brock was my roommate for two and a half years. Having conversations with him, he always told me he was never the most talented, never the fastest, never the biggest, never the strongest arm, so he always had to work overly hard to make a bridge to be as good as everyone else.
And then just seeing how good of a person he was. Brock wasn’t a partier, he wasn’t going out drinking and doing none of that stuff. He was always football, football, football, which sometimes we tried to pull him out of that like 'Brother lets play a game or do something', but just seeing how he’s an all-American person, his faith in god, he never does anybody wrong, he always does the right thing. Just seeing how good of a person, how hard of a worker he was…
In college he always had big play potential. His potential to do a lot of stuff. We had some very big wins and everything… I always knew he had it in him to be a great player, but what he’s doing now is a complete surprise. He always told me 'As long as I got the pieces around me, I’m gonna be successful'. Just hearing him say that and now he has the pieces he needed, he’s successful."

He leaves us with a lasting reminder: to work hard and find joy in this great game, and this extraordinary life. Say Hey, Willie Mays. The best there ever was. 💐
It is with great sadness that we announce that San Francisco Giants Legend and Hall of Famer Willie Mays passed away peacefully this afternoon at the age of 93.
