@rodryanshow The Elephant Man - I think I was around 10 and I really wanted to see it. My Dad took me. I’m pretty sure the only reason I was allowed to see it is because we were in Mexico. 😆
It was SO TRAUMATIC. I had a migraine when we left and cried myself to sleep. 😞

[Monica Melgar @MonicaMelgar]

I had started this one a while back but I’m finally close to finishing it. Want to see it IRL? Of course you do! 😆 Well Saturday is your chance. Come to our first event since the Rona hit. 😬 12 to 5p. You know where! 😉

@DuelyNoted4ever Aw thanks! 3 years later! 😂

[Monica Melgar @MonicaMelgar]

@DuelyNoted4ever @Artsherpa Omg talk about delayed response! I’m sorry I fell off the twitterverse and never saw this. Until now that I’m trying to get back on the horse! When I started working on big pieces with deadlines I did get a little bit of tennis elbow. I’ve since learned to take lots of breaks.

This is first piece that I made when I tried a pointillism expressionistic style. After that I was pretty much hooked. From dots, to dashes to lines and boom, my style was born! I had no idea it would take me this far.
Excited to see what the future has in store for me!

The piece is titled “Prima Donna Unicorn” It’s 10x7.5 inches, acrylic on canvas

So I had started my first Frida painting a few months back and then set her aside to see what else she needed. I think she’s done now, I think. Can’t wait to show her IRL. Hopefully on June 13 we’ll be able to have our studios open. 🤞 #FridaKahlo #melgart

@ATTCares Actually we FINALLY jus got a hold of someone at your Premiere Loyalty dept. Jose is wonderful and is taking care of it. He’s going to credit the $149. Thanks anyway and have a great day!

[Monica Melgar @MonicaMelgar]

@ATTCares Is it normal to charge an additional $149 (in addition to the$49 for the receiver) for a technician to just plug it in? We didn’t ask for an install, we just needed an extra box. This is ridiculous!
