@Patbacknitro@Theonetaylor1@Cyberfunk5 You can see there's a significant pause where he punches, sits for a half second or so, then runs away. That's plenty of time for Nolan to reach for him, especially when he was prepared for/expecting it the third time
@Lewtoons@Cyberfunk5 Definitely, they had him on the ropes in the latter half and if red rush had stayed mitigating damage and blocking his punches, then helped attack when the Martian guy had him wrapped up they could have beaten him
@ErgoanReborn @Fam365239915072 @Xenoblade_Natsu@IanRNHWS@Cyberfunk5 They still drew blood, bruised his forehead and even broke his nose while they were wailing on him. If red rush had stayed on defense longer and survived further into the fight the four of them definitely would have beaten him
@iEvoAK @bigoldfeller @Cyberfunk5 I think he just got stronger since then, if red rush was alive to help beat on him when he was on his knees they likely would have won
@Patbacknitro@Theonetaylor1@Cyberfunk5 Not to be that guy but he didn't catch the punch itself, he just grabbed his arm as he was pulling back since he baited it out π
@GhostAssassin02 @CaptRogers17 I remember more from Superman returns then I do man of steel despite having watched it recently.
I only remember two things from MOS, the fights and flying for the first time π
@Tobbe88480298 @myherroacademia@Signs2323 If I'm Batman, and I've decided to start killing people after Robin dies, joker is the first on my list, no matter how long it takes or what I have to do. I'd raid Arkham alone just for a shot at him π€·πΎββοΈ
@JusJoshin91@adroxx And that's perfectly fine if they get something different out of it, the issue is acting like their opinion is the objectively right one and looking down on people who don't agree
@XavierLamarWar2@mulquame@restoreZSJL That's obvious, but there's also more to Superman's character than what Snyder and these other versions portray him as. The whole point of Superman is that he can be both. There has to be a balance between the two, or else it doesn't work well
We tried watching The Batman the other night and turned it off after like an hour. And all I could think was how sickly he looked.
I just read he refused to bulk up to fight against "unrealistic body image standards."
Dude, you're Batman. It's not realistic to begin with.
