@PlurpA Hello,
Sorry to bother you
I’d like to commission you for a Thumbnail cover, but it seems your DMs are closed.
Do you have any open spots?
Thanks!
The balancing of Magic Items in D&D is… creative to say the least
Most of it makes sense, but then we get:
Periapt of proof against poison: poison + poisoned immunity, NO attunement → rare
Ring of poison resistance: only resistance to poison, attunement → also rare
Wtf
@RPGBOTDOTNET Agreed, this is insane, on monks in particular.
Bonus action flurry of blows for 2 grapple attempts
Action put a set of chains.
Then the druid can cast heat metal and it’s a death sentence.
Especially since once chained, you can keep putting on more chains as an action…
@_ChrisLeeBear@SaintMelancholy You can cast spells as a behemoth yes. They count as clubs only for the purpose of damage and shillelagh, otherwise they function as regular hands, though slightly larger
Flight is a 3rd level spell, the broom of flying gives it to you an unlimited amount and is uncommon item.
Fireball is a 3rd level spell, necklace of fireball gives you max 9 casts of it and is rare.
The broom should be at least rare, if not very rare.
Sometimes I spend more time worrying about content I need to create,
than time it actually takes me to create the content.
Delay in actions is a killer.
To add to this.
This is why I really like Reddit.
They don’t use gloves, it keeps you sharp with your content.
There are of course bad takes on there as well, but on average.
As a TTRPG creator the quickest way to make it is Reddit.
I made my first $1000 from there.
That being said, Reddit will also tear you and your content to shreds, and they’re not always wrong.
If you learn though, they will become fierce defenders.
As someone who feels like crap after doom-scrolling on their phone
I find that switching my phone to greyscale is a great way to make it less enticing.
Apps are a lot more boring without color.
