It infuriates me to see Muslim women enjoying the security and freedom of the west actively defending the oppressive religious laws that don't even apply to them
What does this have to do with anything? Who are you people even arguing with? I don't care about LORE. Halo is fiction; Halo does not describe real events that happened. It is not a natural formation. I am talking about art and the directional, observable human intent behind it.
@ReactionaryLuma@evolved117 I find it funny how they said it's an overused trope but never give examples. Unlike the ancient alien is actually the bad guy and wants to destroy humanity
@Jax277@pinglyadya Are you sure you're not misremembering? The first Halo game that let bullets do damage to jackal shields was Reach, and even then, it does pitiful damage. Like, I'm talking multiple clips to deplete a single jackal shield pitiful.
The reason why every character from Halo 2 "lost 85% of their braincells" in Halo 3 is because Bungie's organizational and leadership structure started fucking exploding in 2003 and Marcus Lehto got into a shouting match with Joseph Staten over the narrative direction of Halo 3
I hate how pill colliders for platformers are industry standard. In my opinion, the player's origin point should never sag below the floor. So, I've devised my own Godot "Cylinder-based Footing" character controller that combines the benefits of both capsules & cylinders.
@Whimsy_Wizard iirc, Halo 2’s audio is set to mono by default because it was in Halo 2 Vista, but unlike Vista there’s no option to change it to stereo
Like seriously for a second: what does sprint add? I always hear notes about "just don't press it" and "just disable it", but never what it adds to the Halo gameplay style? It feels put in because it has to be there since people are used to it happening when they press R3.
Those JPEGs and 20 polygons were enough to tell a story that majorly impacted culture across the world going on 40 years, but it didn't have Chadley I guess
when i was a kid i thought it was unrealistic that every week the new alien in power rangers was like "i'm gonna be the one that beats them up" but then i started watching kitchen nightmares and every manager is like "he's gonna like our food actually"
A bit that's 100% annoying but works 100% of the time is that if someone mentions "London," you ask "Ontario?" For whatever reason, it works even better when they are in fact talking about London, Ontario.
