Mya Thwet Thwet Khaing the first fallen hero against the junta. We stand by her, leaders of the past and the future, after almost 2 years of the military’s attempted coup. When we #RememberMyanmar, we think of them and their bravery.

#Myanmar's military junta continues to ignore ASEAN's 5-Point Consensus Plan. The very least ASEAN should do is immediately impose an arms embargo. Deny the Generals the ability to carry out further atrocities. Deny them access to the weapons they rely upon to remain in power.

Not only is @UN providing photo ops for terrorists, but in junta accounts, Noeleen Heyzer called war criminal Min Aung Hlaing a "kind-hearted person" & did not use the word Rohingya when discussing Rohingya refugees. UN Special Envoy is emboldening illegal junta. @antonioguterres

Must-read interview on #Myanmar with a 24-year-old protest leader from Monywa, a stronghold of resistance. The local People’s Defence Forces provide security at demonstrations - some striking photos. Says much of rural Sagaing not in control of the army. https://t.co/Ca2aYHcITz
