If you work in a school, you are important to more than just the kids. Staff morale is not usually a function of the students… but of the level of support, encouragement, trust, respect, and camaraderie that exists among the adults in the building.

In a true community effort, one bus of extended school year students was already on the road when the tornado warning was issued & the quick-thinking teacher, Nicole Hedmark, has the bus stop at Agway of Chatham, where they provided shelter & popsicles to the students. 4/5

Tough call on what to do. Block it - it may stop or may roll off your hood 2 another car - would u b responsible 4 damages & feel bad 4 injuries? Play safe & avoid - someone else gets hurt - your conscience suffers. Good moral dilemma 4 next years class discussion.

One of the books I’m using to prepare a new history course for Oak Street Academy. 1054 pages. Small print. No pictures. Maybe should have ordered it in June. At least you get your moneys with with this tome. No need for the gym after wrestling this thing around!
