Today our 4th graders read How to Eat A Guava from Esmeralda Santiago Memoir. During the lesson they discussed sensory details. Students had the opportunity to use all their senses and explore a new fruit.

The 4th grade team wrapped up their back to school boot camp today. Mrs. Stephens shared MREs and did a tasting of the different types of food that come in one.

Team building in Mrs. Busken’s 3rd grade class. Groups were challenged to build the tallest tower. Then, they had to build it again without using their hands!
