Today, @ICEgov officers were conducting a targeted immigration enforcement operation in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Agents positively identified the driver of a van as Tiago Alexandre Sousa-Martins, an illegal alien from Portugal. In the passenger seat was Solomon Antonio Serrano-Esquivel, an illegal alien from El Salvador.

Officers approached the vehicle and instructed Sousa-Martins to turn off the engine. The driver refused and attempted to flee, then weaponized his vehicle and began ramming his van into several ICE vehicles. 

He then drove his van directly at ICE officers, attempting to run them over. 

Fearing for their lives and public safety, the ICE officers defensively fired their service weapons, striking the driver. Sousa-Martins then wrecked his van between two buildings, injuring the passenger.

Officers rendered immediate medical aid to both the driver of the vehicle and the passenger, who were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Both are in stable condition and expected to recover.

Thankfully, the ICE officers were not severely injured. 

This incident is still under investigation.

Our brave officers are risking their lives every day to keep American communities safe by arresting and removing illegal aliens from our streets. Continued efforts to encourage illegal aliens and violent agitators to actively resist ICE will only lead to more violent incidents, the extremist rhetoric must stop.

EXCLUSIVE: We were given exclusive access to ICE’s elite Boston team as they went into sanctuary jurisdictions and targeted the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens, including a combative Haitian man who said he won’t go back & screamed “F**k Trump, Biden forever!”. Other targets arrested included a MS-13 gang member with an Interpol Red Notice for aggravated murder, another MS-13 gang member facing gun charges, and multiple rape & sexual assault suspects, several of whom had been released from sanctuary jurisdictions with ICE detainers ignored.

One of the MS-13 suspects had just been released by a sanctuary jurisdiction the day before our embed. When ICE found him - he was with another man who ICE determined is also in the U.S. illegally. ICE arrested him and will seek to deport him, telling me he never would have been caught up if the MS-13 suspect would have been handed to them at jail. This is “collateral”, and Tom Homan warns sanctuary cities will see more of it.

ICE ERO *Baltimore confirms they have now arrested a record 161 noncitizen sex offenders this year with 23 days until the end of the fiscal year.

Acting Field Office Director Matthew Elliston of ERO Baltimore tells @NewsNation, “The women and men of ERO Baltimore are the best in the business at locating and apprehending egregious noncitizen offenders. I am extremely proud of our officers, and the 161 noncitizen sex offenders arrested is both impressive and monumental. What we find most rewarding, however, is that tonight there are 161 victims that no longer have to live in fear.”

The most recent, a Honduran national convicted of rape in Maryland—The 36 y/o had been previously removed at least three times.

The previous record was 152 according to the agency.
