@CrankyHankJ The creeds have you deceived. But I’m still glad you believe, and encourage you to study the interactions between Christ and His Father without filters. ❤️🙏
@BlackLabelAdvsr@BasedMikeLee I’ve seen this document circulating. I am not sure who created it, but it is not accurate.
Most importantly, we are completely dependent on the grace of Jesus Christ.
My favorite scripture is Hebrews 12:1–2. A complementary scripture in the Book of Mormon is 2 Nephi 2:6–9.
@BlackLabelAdvsr@DavidJSharette@BasedMikeLee@BlackLabelAdvsr We believe Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer. Satan is a fallen spirit who rebelled against God. Calling them “brothers” in the same sense badly misrepresents what Latter-day Saints believe.
@Levis_Momm@LoriBB123@ApostateProphet@ShabbosK@Levis_Momm Study the interactions between Jesus and his Father, and the Holy Ghost without influence of the creeds. Study with fresh eyes and a pure heart, and you will be less critical. You might even find added truth.
🙏
@utesbaby2@TheFieldOf68 They only need 4 to beat the Utes, but count again. You were close. They’ll need all five for the rest of the Big 12. 😉
(Light humor. I cheer for the Utes whenever they aren’t playing BYU.)
@KintsugiJin I’ve had good success with two key things:
1) send a link to the talk/topic beforehand and ask them to come protest to discuss it as a quorum.
2) Lead a discussion. Ask questions and let them do most of the teaching.
@EatADickUA@ecuataylor@McclainBaxley Disliking religion isn’t bigotry.
Saying a school shouldn’t belong in a conference because it’s religious is. That’s the line you’re crossing.
Textbook bigotry.
