Anyone who claims the lack of joy about the 250th is a function of a rough economy was not alive in 1976.
The country rocked in its 200th celebration and the economy was a FREAKING MESS.
There is this Gen Z misconception that the '70s and early '80s were some sort of economic golden age of readily available, well-paying jobs, low cost housing and an all around sense of prosperity.
WRONG.
Google "Stagflation." Google "gas lines." Google "mortgage interest rates in the 1980s."
Our economy today is a golden age by comparison, without exaggeration.
Yet somehow in 1976 we could gleefully celebrate our nation's birthday without Democrats turning it into a Howard Zinn-inspired anti-history hatefest.
Remember that time when HillaryClinton introduced her friend GeorgeSoros and his interest to get involved in US elections?
The Internet sure doesn't.
Why?
Because it has been wiped from existence for the most part. Turns out I found a copy of the file I had archived years ago.
Be a real shame if people save and shared this widely.
James Madison described the powers of the federal government as “few and defined” and those reserved to the states as “numerous and indefinite.”
We’ve been dangerously drifting from that understanding since the 1930s.
The drift has been most evident in areas now most fraught with waste, fraud, and abuse.
If we honored the Constitution’s limits on federal power, there’d be very little waste, fraud, and abuse in our national government.
Share if you’d like to see a “constitutional reset,” in which any government function that’s not obviously and necessarily federal under the Constitution would be returned “to the states respectively, or to the people,” as the Tenth Amendment specifies.
The Kill Switch was pitched to Congress as a way to stop drunk driving—but its real-world implications are far more troubling.
No government should have the authority to remotely control a vehicle you paid for, or turn it into a tool for surveillance.
Stop the overreach. Kill the Kill Switch.
President Trump has it exactly right.
So how can Senate Republicans stand there with a straight face and let Thune destroy this nation single-handedly?
I’m tired of the Senate’s evergreen excuse for inaction:
“We don’t have 60 votes.”
There are ways around the 60-vote cloture standard.
It’s time to start using them.
And stop disingenuously characterizing any refusal to do so as virtuous or conservative.
Share if you agree.
Time for the Presiding Officer of the Senate, Vice President Vance, to take the gavel and keep the Senate in continuous session until it takes its job to fund homeland security seriously.
Almost everything happening today can be explained by this 1984 video. Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB defector, gave an interview to G. Edward Griffin explaining that there’s a long-term plan by the left to dismantle Western Civilization through psyops, “demoralization, and a great brainwashing.”
Bezmenov warned about Marxist-Leninist ideological subversion as a long-term psychological operation to undermine America and the West from within, destroying its system and way of life without conventional war.
This applies directly to current events, stating:
The LGBTQ movement is a psychological operation (PSYOP) disguised as sexual identity and "liberation," advancing a New World Order/depopulation agenda.
It lumps together unrelated issues (critical race theory, minority suffering, gender confusion) into an "incoherent but workable" coalition.
We're currently in the demoralization and crisis phases of Bezmenov's four stages of ideological subversion: Demoralization → Destabilization → Crisis → Normalization.
The real goal is to destroy targeted people (especially the middle class) physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—while pretending to help them.
Saying the interview was worth watching would be a huge understatement! 📽️👀
🚨 Tomorrow morning, the Senate’s FIRST order of business should be to REMOVE John Thune as Leader.
He’s the roadblock.
Fire him and get to work for America!
Elon Musk just showed the world what happens when you walk into the vault and start counting.
They don’t debate you.
They try to end you.
We are told government waste is an accident. A byproduct of incompetence.
Musk proved it is a business. Defended. Coordinated. Worth hundreds of billions a year. Guarded by every institution that feeds from it.
Musk: “You turn off the money spigot to fraudsters, they get very upset to say the least. My death threat level went ballistic.”
The press had a villain ready before the ink dried. Politicians moved in unison to brand him a monster. The whole apparatus collapsed on one man with mechanical precision.
It is not cancellation. It is annihilation.
We were told this was about protecting democracy.
It was about protecting the invoice.
Joe Rogan: “The whole machine turns on you because you were getting in the way of this amazing graft.”
Musk: “The goal was to destroy me absolutely.”
Without his own platform and unlimited capital, they would have buried him and walked back to the vault.
He survived. And he brought numbers.
His work already prevented $200 to $300 billion a year in fraud. That is not a rounding error. That is a shadow economy the size of a G20 nation hidden inside your paycheck.
Then he said the sentence that should keep every taxpayer awake at night.
Musk: “Probably cut the federal budget in half. And get more done.”
Half.
Half of what they take from every cheque is not paying for civilization. It is not building roads. It is not funding schools. It is feeding the thing eating it from the inside.
They did not come for him because he lied.
If he had lied, they would have promoted him.
They came for him because he counted.
I am still here fighting from inside these walls. The appeals court ruled my sentencing violated my first amendment rights but I remain locked up. My only crime was protecting records so future generations could trust elections.
If we do not get rid of the machines we will lose our country.
Read the Mesa Reports at my website and see for yourself.
Thank you for all the prayers and support. All of you have been the reason I have been able to stay in this fight.
🧵 THREAD: You've heard the phrase "OUR DEMOCRACY" a million times. But what exactly is "OUR DEMOCRACY"? 🤔
When they say "democracy," they don't mean a republic. They don't mean consent of the governed. They don't mean your right to choose your own leaders.
They mean a system where "institutions" - NGOs, multilaterals, the permanent bureaucracy - advance a set of values they consider settled: equality, social justice, cosmopolitanism, global governance. These values aren't proposals to be voted on. They're treated as moral prerequisites that must be true *before* your vote counts.
Despite what they say, they aren't for checks and balances. Checks and balances limit what government can do to you. This limits what you can do to *them*. The brakes are on accountability, not power. The institutions that set the boundaries of acceptable policy have put themselves beyond the reach of the electorate, and they call that arrangement "democracy."
Trump has been an existential threat to this system since the moment he said "drain the swamp" ... because the swamp IS the system. When he threatened those institutions, he didn't threaten the republic. He threatened their immunity from it.
And they said so. On camera. At their own events. In their own words.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread.👇
🚨 WHOA: Scott Presler just delivered a HISTORIC warning to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Republicans.
They now have just 13 days to pass the SAVE America Act — or @ScottPresler will openly work to PRIMARY those who refuse.
PRESLER: “Now I’m giving a peaceful warning to Senate Majority Leader Thune.”
“He has 13 days until the end of April to pass the SAVE America Act into law and respectfully, if the Senate Majority Leader is incapable of passing said legislation by the end of April, I will be going to Louisiana to help DEFEAT Senator Cassidy in the May 16th Saturday primary.”
“And I will be heading to Texas to DEFEAT John Cornyn in the May 26th Senate runoff.”
“You know, I’ve been nice, I’ve been really respectful, but the American people are fed up of electing people into power that don’t wield that power when we have given them this massive opportunity to work on our behalf.”
Also, I love this line:
"You can't follow, say $10M from one organization through 16 other organizations, and then say the one organization at the top is controlling all of them."
Ummm... yes you CAN say that and be totally truthful.
It's a sort of money laundering. The real puppet master is pulling the strings, but the money goes through so many hands that the puppet can claim they are not a puppet.
Like "Braver Angels."
A recent public exchange has brought Elizabeth Doll into sharper focus for anyone paying attention to the future of the Republican Party.
On paper she looks like a classic institutional conservative, Christian, platform-savvy, and operating in deep-blue Washington state. But her work and public statements point to something more strategic, a deliberate effort to slow, dilute, and ultimately reverse the America First realignment from inside the tent.
In my latest piece I examine her role at Braver Angels, her ideological roots, her connections to the broader anti-populist network, and why operatives like her will matter a great deal as we head into the midterms and 2028.
This is not noise. It is the quiet infrastructure being built for a post-Trump GOP.
Worth reading if you want to understand the internal challenges still ahead.

This is worth repeating:
I never cared that you were gay until you started shoving it down my throat, and I never cared what color you were until you started blaming me for your problems.
I never cared about your political affiliation until you started condemning me for mine.
I really never even cared where you were born until you wanted to erase my history and blame my ancestors for your problems.
I never even cared if your beliefs were different from mine until you said my beliefs were wrong.
But now I care. My patience and tolerance are gone, and I am not alone in feeling like this. There are millions of us who feel like this.
