@EveAinsworth 100% me. I first come down with it 3 and 4th of Dec. After a week or so I thought i was on the mend only for it to come back harder than before. Missed out on xmas gatherings to minimise spread.
@HoneysettSarah Its a very sad state of affairs where genuine people in need are seen as fraudsters, layabouts and scammers. This has I believe been the view of government towards benefit claimants for far too long.
Will genuinely be sad to saying goodbye to my Citizens Advice family tomorrow.
However an exciting opportunity to learn some new skills presented itself and I decided to take a leap. Looking forward to starting a new chapter tomorrow with Auriga services!
A small reminder that while we were all getting cross about Christmas Parties at No 10 (rightly), a bigger story with potentially much greater impact for our society, was slipping under the radar...
Feeling major appreciation at work. I love being able to do what I do, getting to talk with and support wonderful people everyday. @ Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke-on-Trent https://t.co/cxKbNWjJOC
If MPs struggle to maintain their lifestyles on £81,000 plus expenses without taking lucrative second jobs, then how do they think the rest of us are managing?
@HoneysettSarah I wrote to aaron bell about it who highlighted they're helping with childcare costs so parents can work extra hours which granted is helpful but i as I'm sure are many others am already in full time employment.
Despite an almost complete media blackout from spineless UK News Channels this film is now on the very cusp of 36 MILLION VIEWS. If it’s ruffling this many feathers now just imagine when it hits 50 million. Let’s keep going!
Found it chilling that last night's @BBCNews didn't use the word "people" at all when discussing this issue last night, just "migrants" and "migrant boats".
Language matters. It's damned dangerous to use it to strip any minority of their humanity.
Boris Johnson's tax rise means a landlord who owns and rents out dozens of properties won’t pay a penny more, but the tenants working in full-time jobs will.
They are hitting young and low-paid workers while leaving the wealthy untouched.
11 years of Tory unfairness continues.
The 1,000 richest people in UK are worth £771bn which is 6 times the NHS budget.
And yet the Tories want to increase NI tax on ordinary working people.
Enough is enough.
