@_Vanilla_Icing_ No, she wasn't personally trained. She just observed the Kocho sisters before taking final selection. Shinobu in fact told her not to take final selection but she went against that anyways. She's insane 🐐.

Though I do agree that final selection is really evil anyways.

I think it's telling that 4/5 that passed had a hashira involved in some way shape or form, and that a possibility of dying to just pass the entrance exam is crazy.

In Tashiro Secrets (manga) Kanao went against Shinobu's order and took final selection. That's why she was never properly trained. It was after she passed that she got trained from Shinobu.

Hashibara is just insane to develop his own breathing from nothing.

@sketching204 And by that, it would hammer home that she cared and missed him equally as much, and cared for him as much as he did her. I believe she cared for him, especially in that apology, but not gifting Nick's pen back made me question if she learnt anything from her actions.

@sketching204 So by her repairing the pen and giving it back to Nick, she is repairing the damage she did on her end, and acknowledging his feelings and attachment to his pen.

But she didn't, instead it was him who kept giving. Words are great, but actions are louder.
