Overwhelmed with pride that my friend Georgie has a researcher credit for #BBCEarthAsia π₯° We've been telling her since she was 16 that we'd see her name in a big BBC production one day and she did it way sooner than we expected, amazing, can't wait to watch it!
Just bought a swanky new oven after 13+ years and have successfully burnt/cremated my last 3 meals π Now sitting on a stool in my kitchen like my nan used to, watching my dinner through the door - wish me luck for tomorrow's roast π€£
About 2000 people enjoyed our little passion project, Big Biology Day, today. The only complaint was that it's not on for two days (or more) π΅ So grateful to everyone who enjoyed it with us & for those who help keep it free to attend. Sleeping for a day now βΊοΈ
Magnificent to see the #Aurora from my light-polluted garden again, but I can't ever shake off #DayOfTheTriffids so please remember my address when you wake up, peacefully slumbering friends..?

@fesshole Utterly baffled by this. You only get to punch if the yellow car is also a Mini, *and* you say 'banana car!' first *and* the punchee isn't driving at the time.
@mariannaspring Thank you for what you do Marianna - I watched the entirely different issues in Southend last night inevitably get moulded to fit a particular narrative with dismay - we don't want to see any of it but it's imperative that there is accurate and impartial reporting on motives.
It's so good for imposter syndrome to get shoved out of your comfort zone at work πͺ Someone asked my advice on something that's not my bag and I got that old, exciting danger buzz - let's work it out together. It's been a while and it was a great feeling π
