Thomas Jefferson and John Adams — two guys who genuinely couldn't stand each other for years — both died on the exact same day. July 4th, 1826. The 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Is that the most dramatic coincidence in American history?
The British were so confident they had this whole revolution thing handled that they hired Hessian soldiers to do a lot of the fighting for them. Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas night specifically because he knew they'd be hungover. The first American military strategy was essentially "wait for them to party."😂🤣
https://t.co/1nGyf46g6t Why is slowing down poor decisions considered a "win" by politicians? Could it be because the right and left want the same thing?
Jack Ruby walked into a police station, through a crowd of reporters and cops, and shot Lee Harvey Oswald on live television two days after the assassination. Why do you think a guy would do that?
Secretariat ran the 1973 Belmont so fast that people watching thought something had gone wrong.
The announcer's voice literally breaks because he can't believe what he's seeing. Go watch the clip right now.

WWI started because a driver took a wrong turn.
Gavrilo Princip had already failed his assassination attempt and when Franz Ferdinand's car accidentally pulled up right in front of him.
He just... went for it. 20 million people died because of a wrong turn.
The Constitutional Convention was supposed to just tweak the Articles of Confederation.
They showed up, immediately scrapped the whole thing, and wrote a new government from scratch — and then told nobody for four months.
The Founders said "we'll fix it in post." 😂
Happy 70th birthday, Joe Montana. As a lifelong Washington Redskins fan I have to admit, Joe Montana is the greatest quarterback that ever played. Lots of great memories watching him play. I know many will differ in opinion on who the greatest quarterback is/was, but if you saw him play, in the time I did, it’s hard to say he wasn’t the best clutch performer ever. And, of course, he will always be “Joe Cool”
Do you think anyone in modern baseball—with today’s pitching, analytics, and bullpen usage—will ever come within 10 games of DiMaggio’s 56-game hitting streak?
Every single day the Constitution touches your life and most people have no idea: your right to not self-incriminate at a traffic stop. Your right to refuse a warrantless search. Your right to practice (or not practice) any religion. Which constitutional right do you think is most taken for granted?
