During recording, the direction was to add more “urgency and frustration” than I had initially prepared. The line itself is meant to push Itadori forward, and Fushiguro knows that, but both of them are in a situation with very little room to breathe. Also, the first person to save Itadori was Fushiguro, so deep down, he must believe that “Itadori is a good person who deserves to live.” That’s why Fushiguro says this. But for Itadori, “save me” might have been a new curse placed on him.
